About Destination
The Netherlands is a country in Western Europe, bordering Germany, Belgium and the North Sea.
It is part of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, together with three island territories in the Caribbean. The country is more commonly known as Holland, which is actually only a part of it. Its three largest cities are Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague, Amsterdam being its capital. The port of Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port. Its people, language and culture are referred to as ‘Dutch’. The Netherlands is famous for its painters, windmills, clogs, tulip fields, cycling, romantic candlelit cafés and flat lands.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1 - Amsterdam (L, D)
On your arrival to Amsterdam Airport Meet & Greet service by our representative and depending on the arrival time transfer by private coach for lunch or to check into your hotel. Check in and refresh at the hotel, rest of the day is free for leisure to explore the city on own. Dinner at Indian Restaurant included. Overnight stay in Amsterdam.
Day 2 - Amsterdam (B, L, D)
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Amsterdam - the city of canals, diamonds and beer all flourish together. Highlights: Dam Square, Royal Palace, Red Light District, Anne Frank House, Old Church. After lunch one hour canal cruise included to see the elegant merchants' houses from the Golden Age. Some free time for leisure.
Day 3 - Amsterdam - Brussels - Amsterdam (B, L, D)
After breakfast depart on a full day excursion to Brussels, on arrival enjoy a guided orientation tour in the city centre to see some important sights like the Royal Palace, Atomium and the Mannekin Piss. After lunch free time for shopping or leisure to discover more from Brussels on your own. Return to Amsterdam for overnight.
Day 4 - Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Madurodam - Amsterdam (B, L, D)
Morning drive to Zaanse Schans to see historic windmills & green wooden houses where artisan workshops demonstrate rare handicrafts; wooden clog carving, barrel making, pewter casting. After visit Madurodam to see in scale-model replicas of perfectly ornamented bridges, canals, windmills, and major national landmarks.
Day 5 - Amsterdam Departure (B)
Breakfast included at the hotel, then check out and transfer to Amsterdam Airport for group's departure.
