Zagreb - Plitvice - Split

About Destination

Croatia is located in between Central Europe, Southeast Europe and the Mediterranean.

It borders Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. Its capital is Zagreb. Croatia has a varied geography, going from beaches to high mountains to farmlands. At the seaside, you will find many small islands. The Dinaric Alps, which go from Italy to Albania, are also located in Croatia.

They are filled with peaks, caverns, rivers, waterfalls and picturesque lakes. Further inland, you will find more farmlands, which are well known for their excellent foods.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Zagreb (D)

On your arrival to Zagreb Airport Meet & Greet service by our representative and depending on the arrival time transfer by private coach for lunch or to check into your hotel. Check in and refresh at the hotel, rest of the day is free for leisure to explore the city on own. Dinner at local Restaurant included. Overnight stay in Zagreb.

Day 2 - Zagreb (B, L, D)

After breakfast, leave for a guided tour of Zagreb to see both sides of this city - the Old Town rich in history & culture and the Urban Modern new city. Highlights of the tour: Ban Jelacic Square, funicular ride, Cathedral, "Dolac" - farmer's market. The afternoon is at leisure on own to discover galleries, museums cafes. Overnight stay in Zagreb.

Day 3 - Zagreb - Plitvice (B, L, D)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to the UNESCO World Heritage site - Plitvice Lakes National Park. On the way photo stop at Rastoke - an idyllic watermill village. Guided walking tour at the National Park along the majestic lakes and waterfalls with a boat ride and local lunch. Overnight stay near Plitvice Lakes.

Day 4 - Plitvice - Split (B, L, D)

Today, after breakfast we continue our journey to Split, stopping at Šibenik – the oldest Croatian city on the Adriatic coast to visit the stone built St Jacob Cathedral, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the city on a guided tour. On arrival to Split free some free time for leisure before dinner. Overnight at Split.
