EUROPEAN EXPLORER

DAY 1: London

Welcome to London. Once you reach London, you will be met by your Tour Manager at the airport and taken to your hotel for check-in (Check-in time is after 3.00pm). The day is kept free for you to rest and relax or you can take the opportunity to explore London on your own. Overnight in London. (D)

DAY 2: London

Today, after breakfast, embark on a guided city tour of London. On this tour, you will see Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace. Next, enjoy a thrilling ride on the Coca Cola London Eye - one of the world’s tallest Ferris wheels. We then take you for a visit to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Overnight in London. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: London - Paris

Today we check out from the hotel in London and go to Calais, France by the Eurotunnel train from Folkestone or by a ferry from Dover. We proceed to Paris and check-in to the hotel. In the evening enjoy the scenic Cruise on the Seine river, followed by an Illumination tour of Paris, when you will see the city’s famous landmark lit up beautifully. Later you can opt for the Glamorous LIDO Show. Overnight in Paris. (B, PL, D)

DAY 4 Paris

Today, after breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing of the city of Love – Paris. The tour that takes you around the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and the opulent Palais Garnier Opera House. Visit 3rd level of Eiffel Tower, from where you have spectacular view of Paris city. Later ride on the funicular to visit the Basilique du Sacré Coeur located in Montmartre. Overnight in Paris. DAY 5 Paris

Today, after breakfast, we take you on an exciting trip to Disneyland Paris. Get enthralled by Cinderella’s Castle, take an exciting ride down the Thunder Mountain rollercoaster, meet Alice in her Wonderland and others as well as Aladdin and Indiana Jones at Adventureland. Overnight in Paris. (B, L, D)

DAY 6 Paris – Brussels

Today, after breakfast, checkout from your hotel in Paris proceed to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. We view the adorable ‘Manneken Pis’ statue, as well as the beautiful Grand Place. Later continue onwards to The Netherlands. We visit the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens (till 1oth May) - the world’s most beautiful tulip garden. 11th May onwards - visit Madurodam, home to miniature replicas of famous Dutch landmarks. Overnight in The Netherlands. (B, L, D)

DAY 7 Amsterdam - Cologne

Today,after breakfast, enjoy a Canal Cruise in Amsterdam. Later, drive to Cologne and see the magnificent Cologne Cathedral and enjoy some time to explore Cologne city center on your own. We then proceed to the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Germany. (B, L, D)

DAY 8 Black Forest, Germany and Switzerland

Today, after breakfast, we check out and drive through the famous Black Forest region of Germany. We stop at Titisee - to witness a demonstration of how the traditional Cuckoo clocks are made. Later we drive to Switzerland, the country with magnificent lakes and mountains. We stop at Schaffhausen to admire the magnificent Rhine falls where you go on an optional boat ride. Overnight in Switzerland. (B, L, D)

DAY 9 Switzerland - Jungfraujoch

Today, after breakfast , we proceed to Grindelwald Grund for an excursion to Jungfraujoch - the highest rail summit in Europe. Board the charming train from Grund to Jungfraujoch, where you can enjoy the majestic Ice Palace, the Observatory and also snow sports. Enjoy a delicious Indian lunch on top. Later, visit Interlaken, the city locked between two beautiful lakes - Brienz and Thun. Overnight in Switzerland. (B, L, D)

DAY 10 Switzerland - Mount Titlis & Lucerne

Today, after breakfast, visit Mt. Titlis, we ride on two cable cars to reach the summit , including the ‘Titlis Rotair’, the world’s first rotating cable car. For the ones who enjoy thrills, you can walk on the suspension bridge rightly named the ‘Titlis Cliff walk’. The TITLIS Cliff Walk is just one metre wide and over 100 metres long. The views into the abyss below are breathtaking!. Later we visit Lucerne - on an orientation tour see the famous Lion Monument and Kapellbrucke. Enjoy a cruise on the picturesque lake Lucerne. Overnight in Switzerland. (B, L, D)

DAY 11 Switzerland - Austria

Today, after breakfast, we check out and drive to Austria . Our first stop is Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens. We visit the magnificent gardens and the Museum. You can also shop for some exquisite pieces for yourself and your loved ones. Later , we drive to Innsbruck and embark on an Orientation Tour of Innsbruck - to see the magnificent Golden roofs. Overnight in Tyrol Region. (B, L, D)

DAY 12 Austria - Venice

Today, after breakfast we checkout and proceed to Venice - the city with its liquid streets and 100 small islands, separated by canals and linked by bridges. Board a water taxi to St. Mark’s Square. At St. Mark’s Square see the historic Ducal Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the exquisite Clock Tower and the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica. We also visit the Murano Glass factory for a demo of the art glass blowing. Also enjoy a Gondola Ride. Overnight in Venice / Padova. (B, L, D)

DAY 13 Venice - Pisa - Florence - Arezzo

Today, after breakfast we check out and drive to Pisa. Visit the ‘Field of Miracles’. See the Duomo, the Baptistry and the Bell Tower or the ‘Leaning Tower of Pisa’.Later we drive to Florence. On your guided walking tour see the Duomo, Piazza Signoria, the Palazzo Vecchio and many more sights. Overnight in Arezzo. (B, L, D)

DAY 14 Arezzo - Rome

Today, after breakfast, we checkout and drive to Rome. Visit the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Later embark on a guided city tour of Rome .You will see innumerable beautiful historical buildings and monuments such as the Victor Emmanuel II, the Trevi fountain, Roman forum and the Coliseum.. Overnight in Rome. (B, L, D)

DAY 1: Paris

DAY 1 : COPENHAGEN

Welcome to Copenhagen,  one of Europe’s oldest capitals with a majestic royal touch. On arrival  you will be greeted by your Tour representative, who will escort you to your hotel . Check in at hotel (standard check in from 1500 hrs). Later in the afternoon proceed to the Tivoli Gardens a famous amusement park in Copenhagen,Overnight in Copenhagen. (Dinner)

DAY 2: COPENHAGEN - OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO OSLO

Breakfast at hotel. Later in the morning proceed on a guided city tour of Copenhagen. Copenhagen is a city rich in history and is dotted with beautiful historic buildings and ancient cobbled streets. You will see the Little Mermaid - symbol of Copenhagen and the Gefion fountain. The Royal residence Amalienborg Palace , where you may get a chance to witness the change of guards cremony, Christiansborg Castle - home of the Danish Parliament, and more. Your Copenhagen experience also included a boat ride, sailing down its charming canals on  a Nyhavn Canal Cruise. Later proceed to  board your DFDS  overnight cruise to Oslo. DAY 3: OSLO - BERGEN - GEILO

Breakfast on board your overnight ferry.Arrive into Oslo Pier and disembark . Start the day with a guided tour of the city of Oslo. See medieval Akershus Fortress, the City Hall , the Royal Palace, Parliament and the National Theatre. Then continue with a visit to the Vigeland Sculpture Park. The park is home to over 200 stone, bronze and cast-iron figural sculptures made by Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland. Visit to the top of the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, from where you get a breath-taking view of Oslo fjords. Visit the  Viking Ship Museum. The museum displays  the world’s two best-preserved wooden Viking ships built in the 09th century, as well  as small boats. Later drive to Geilo. Overnight in Geilo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 4: BERGEN - NORWAY IN A NUTSHELL - OSLO

Today,after breakfast, checkout and proceed to Gudvangen. Get set for one of the highlights of your trip – Norway in Nutshell. A combination of spectacular train rides, impressive  boat and scenic bus ride. Be mesmerized as you travel through breakthtakingly beautiful sceneries of the Fjord Norway. Embark on an enchanting boat ride through the spectacular fjords. The boat takes you from Aurlands fjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Europe. Arrive at Flam , you have some time to walk around the idyllic countryside. Later change to the Flam railway line to travel to Myrdal. Enjoy the beautiful mountains and thundering waterfalls as the train glides through tunnels and scenic open stretches on its way down to the wild Flam valley. On arrival into Myrdal change to the other line to take a train to Geilo. Board your coach and drive to Oslo. Overnight in Oslo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 5: OSLO - KARLSTAD - STOCKHOLM

Today, after breakfast,Check out of your hotel in Oslo. We start our drive to Stockholm – the Swedish capital. En route, visit the town of Karlstad, situated between the cities of Stockholm and Oslo. The town is bisected by the Klaralven River. Continue to Stockholm. On arrival into Stockholm, check in and relax in your hotel. Overnight in Stockholm. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 6 STOCKHOLM

Breakfats at hotel. Today, enjoy a guided city tour of Stockholm. The city is often referred to as the Venice of the North. Visit Fjällgatan from where you get magnificent view of the Swedish capital, spread over14  islands with Lake Mälar on one side and the Baltic Sea on the other.  Visit the old town, with its narrow cobbled streets and historic buildings including the Royal Palace , The Cathedral and the City hall - which hosts the annual Nobel Prize event each year. Later visit the Vasa Museum -home to the beautifully preserved wooden warship that sank in Stockholm Harbour during her ill-fated maiden voyage in 1628. Our last stop today is Stockholm Skyvoew - Go up on the gondola to the SkyView – Stockholm’s landmark, a world-class attraction that takes you to the top of the world’s largest  spherical building for a fantastic view of Stockholm. DAY 7 STOCKHOLM = OVERNIGHT FERRY TO HELSINKI

Breakfast at hotel . Checkout form the hotel.Today enjoy a guided tour of the Drottningholm Palace - the private residence of the Swidish Royal family, later you will be transfered to the port to board an Overnight Cruise to Helsinki. Overnight on board the Silja Line Cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 8 HELSINKI

Disembark at Helsinki after breakfast onboard the cruise. Enjoy guided city tour of Helsinki. We drive past the city’s busy harbor and shipyards and down the coastal road by Embassy Park, see the colourful open-air market, Senate Square - home to an elegant Lutheran Cathedral, as well as the shopping avenue - Esplanadi . Visit the Sibelius Monument dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. The tour then take you down Mannerheim Street - Helsinki’s main street, to see the Parliament building, the National Museum and Finlandia Hall. Also visit the  Rock Church - built out of solid rock and capped with a copper dome. Overnight in Helsinki. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 9 BACK

DAY 1 : BUDAPEST

Arrive into Budapest, the capital of Hungary. On arrival at the airport,clear immigration, collect your baggage and proceed outside to meet your Tour Manager who will escort you to your hotel . Standard check in at hotel after 1500 hrs. In the evening proceed for a Cruise on the River Danube. Overnight in Budapest. (Dinner)

DAY 2

Today, after breakfast, proceed for a guided city sightseeing tour of Budapest.Pass by the Parliament building before crossing the Danube on the Margaret Bridge and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side of the city. Free time to visit the Fishermen’s Bastion. Continue to the Gillert Hill before crossing the Elisabeth Bridge from where you drive towards the Heroes’ square. Passing by the opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Proceed to Godolo for the Hungarian Horsemanship Show – witness the co-ordination of human & horse, a spectacular visual treat. In the evening enjoy some free time for shopping. Overnight in Budapest. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 3

After breakfast, check out, today we contniue our journey to Vienna the capital of Austria. Enroute we stop at Bratislava - Slovakia for an orientation tour of this beautiful city. Later continue to Vienna.

DAY 4

After breakfats today, proceed on a half-day guided  sightseeing tour of Vienna, visit the Innere Stadt (1st District), which contains its Old Town.This entire area has been classified as an official UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the  Stephansplatz,which is home to Vienna’s iconic St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Stroll down Karntner strasse, Vienna’s famous shopping avenue and see the nearby Vienna State Opera House. Later we will proceed to Schönbrunn Palace, a former imperial summer residence located in Vienna, Austria. The 1,441-room Baroque palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural and historicalmonuments in the country. Later drive to Prague, the Czech capital. Overnight stay in Prague (Breakfast, lunch, Dinner)

DAY 5

Breakfast at hotel. Later proceed on a walking tour of city of Prague. Visit the  Prague Castle which is said to be the biggest castle in the world .See the St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower. Proceed to the magnificent Statue lined Charles bridge famous for the series of Baroque statues that adorn the bridge’s balustrade, and arriving into the Old town square to witness the unique walk of the apostles at the Astronomical Clock. See Wenceslas Square. Enjoy rest of the afternoon exploring the city on your own. Overnight in Prague. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 6

Today, after breakfast, we  check out and drive to the beautiful city of Munich. Your tour manager will show you the city of Munich - starting with the large open square of Marienplatz, dominated by the Old and New Town Hall. Stroll through the inner city and see sites such as the Frauenkirche and the former royal palaces of the Munich Residence. Overnight in Munich. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 7

Your memorable holiday ends. After breakfast, checkout from the hotel in Munich. The coach drops you to the airport for your flight back home.
